Is Poverty Necessary?

I didn't think, poverty is necessary. But after I read Marshall text,I saw this is true.Poverty is necessary.Poverty means inequality. If there is inequality, some people are rich some aren't rich.People who aren't rich make an effort something. And this determine who have power.According to Colquhoun (Marshall text),people who are rich are rich because of people who are poor.Maybe, this may be true.I think being rich is result of making an effort something. To make an effort is result of poverty. On the other hand,if everybody was rich, who work and develop something?.For example; Why a person who is rich want to be dustman?.If anybody don't want to be dustman, who pick up rubbish?.So I think, even if poverty is bad for people it is necessary in society.Even if nobody like it...

My topic sentence is "People who aren't rich make an effort. And this determine who have power".It have subject and verb.It is complete sentence and it isn't first sentence in paragraph. It isn't too general and too specific.Maybe, this isn't topic sentence.I don't notice topic sentences in paragraph very well. Also, this is my writing.

I think you could combine your first four sentences into a smoother topic sentence along these lines: "After reading the Marshall text, I became convinced poverty is necessary because..."

Some people may make an effort to get rich, but what about people who are born rich? Or who inherit wealth? Do you think all poor people want to be rich? Working class people, for example, are often proud of their values and have no desire to join the upper classes.

You could include more specific examples to strengthen your paragraph.
