Can Turks be trusted with their own future?

Turks have been trusted with their future for a long time. "Türk evladı ecdadını tanıdıkça daha büyük işler yapmak için kendinde kuvvet bulacaktır."(ATATURK) is the best example of this view. Meaning of this quote is Turkish youth take their power from old generation who turned to impossible to possible. In the text, Kinzer argues that clash between what the entrenched elite wants and what more and more Turks want, is the central fact of life in modern Turkey. But it must not forget that ruling elites and Turks generally have same approach. It doesn't called as clash between two ideas. For instance, after the great depression, all pre-development countries were affected this economic variation so Turkey too. Citizens couldn't found bread, salt, sugar or anything but they never accused the ruling elites. At that time, Bülent Ecevit was a little child but he was elected into the Turkish parliament after 24 years and he solved lots of problem of citizens as ruling elite. To sum up, ruling elites and citizens are different parts of the same body. And this co-working show us to Turks can be trusted with their future.

You have plagiarised some sentences from the Kinzer text and your examples are not really relevant to your argument.
