Can Turks be trusted with their own future?

I think that Turks can be trusted with their own future. I think that Turkish people can decide what they want. Turkey had always seen as a un-educated and immature country but i think it's not true. Before when the people in Turkey couldn't decide for themselves and before Ataturk made all the changes, they didn't have any rights or they couldn't vote and women couldn't get educated. But now people can do anything they want. It is a free country now and everybody have rights, almost everbody is educated and everybody can speak for themselve. I think that ruling elite can't direct this country as they should and i think that they have to give us a chance to speak and tell our thoughts about this country. And i think it will be very useful because every Turkish person has so much opinions about this country and how to save Turkey from this situation. The ruling elite seem to believe Ataturk's ideas but they don't. They want us to think that they believe in democracy. I think without democracy this country will be in a worse position than it is now. If the democracy is gone then our rights will be gone slowly. I hope that the ruling elite can decide the best for Turkey.
