Can Turks be trusted with their own future?

Turks are trusted their own future because Turks are mature and they make right desicion for themselves. A lot of things changed in Turkey. Turkey is in the very different position. Anymore people educate themselves very well every subject. In Turkey trade improve, people think more sweeping, economy shows bursts so I think we shouldn't compare past and now. According to Kinzer, if Turkey go throught that islam and secularism or modern life are together, Turkey will be an example country toward countries which are Turkey's neighbour. And I think Turkey are successing it. In this case we see that Turks go throught their goals. Maybe, leaders told Turks cannot yet be trusted to protect their own position. Leaders didn't want that making desicion duty was taken from their hands, they knew that Turks were trusted, maybe I don't know exactly. Turkey is a democratic place. Therefore Turks make their own desicion for their own future.

Thanks for following the posting instructions precisely.

A pretty good paragraph overall, but I do have a few suggestions:

1. Your topic sentence is a little too general. You could preview your arguments to come like this: "Turks can be trusted with their own future because modern Turkey is a democratic state with an educated populace and a growing economy that provides a strong example for its Islamic neighbours." Then you could give more specific details in your supporting sentences.

2. You say Turks are succeeding, but you have to show evidence of this. Can you find something in the text to support your view?

3. Avoid phrases such as "maybe I don't know exactly". You don't want academic writing to sound weak or uncertain.

Good work.
